The Pride Center of New Jersey is a special place to volunteer. Through the Infoline, the dozens of support groups, programs, social activities and special events at the Center, we make it possible for people just “coming out” to feel less alone and frightened. For those of us who are already “out,” PCNJ provides a wealth of information, programs and services.
When you join our family of volunteers at PCNJ, you help everyone along this spectrum. Whatever your reason for volunteering – to meet new people, gain work experience, or give back to the community – giving your time to PCNJ can be a richly rewarding experience. We are currently in need of volunteers to cover shifts in the late afternoon and evening staffing the front desk.
As a front desk/shift volunteer,
- You are the “host” of the Pride Center, our Face and Voice to members and the community.
- Answer question for visitors and those calling on the phone.
