The Pride Center depends solely on fundraising events and donations, for their operating income.
We’re a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, which means that your donations are tax-deductible.
Since we have a tight budget with limited income, we rely on donation of various goods (and services) throughout the year. If you are willing to donate any items such as computers and office equipment, furniture, shelving, desks, paper towels, toilet paper, soap or other supplies/items, please let us know by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or you can call us direct at 732-846-2232. Please note policy on acceptance of material donations below:
The following items will NOT be accepted:
Videos recorded from TV
Computers and accessories that are more than five years old (including monitors, CPUs, printers)
*** Due to our limited shelf space, we can accept no more than one box of books per person. ***
Items which the Center seeks and will accept cannot have any broken parts that will impact the basic functions. Furniture must not have broken pieces that may pose a hazard or hinder use of part or all of the piece. Office equipment and computers should not have buttons or jacks damaged to the point that key tasks will be impacted or prove to be a safety hazard. Please verify condition of items before bringing to Center.
Please note that the donor is responsible for bringing items to the Center. We cannot guarantee the availability of volunteers to pick up items.
In addition, our fundraising events often require facilities such as buildings, theatres (with stages), parking, tents/canopies, etc. If you have any facilities available, and you would like to offer these to The Pride Center for our fundraising events, please contact us at the same address listed above.
Thank you for your time and cooperation!
