VOLUNTEER
The Pride Center is a special
place to volunteer. Through the Infoline, the dozens of support
groups and
programs, and the social activities
at the Center, we make it possible for people just “coming
out” to feel less alone and frightened. For those of us who
are already “out,” PCNJ provides a wealth of information,
programs and services.
When you join our family of
volunteers at PCNJ, you help everyone along this spectrum. Whatever
your
reason
for volunteering – to meet new people, gain work experience,
or give back to the community – giving your time to PCNJ
can be a richly rewarding experience.
Several volunteer opportunities
are available. See below for a full listing.
If you are interested in volunteering,
please fill out and submit our online application. You may also send
e-mail to
or phone us at 732-846-2232.

board meetings is expected. The Board is particularly interested
in applicants with a background in mental health fields or social
work, community activists, seniors and those with previous non-profit
experience, including fundraising and marketing/promotions. Interested
applicants should send a letter or interest and resume to the attention
of the Board Secretary, care of PCNJ.
