Miguel Rivera-Rios (he/him) is the Volunteer Coordinator at the Pride Center of NJ. He helps wrangle and support all volunteers at the Center, making sure the Center is fully staffed during hours of operation and that all events have the support they need to be successful.

Miguel has a background in data science and web design and currently works as a Senior Software Developer for a streaming platform. He also freelances with various organizations to help streamline operations through web + data solutions. In his free time, Miguel plays video games, reads books, and spends time with his newborn.

Being relatively new to NJ, Miguel initially started volunteering at PCNJ to make friends and to get to know the community. Because the Center is 100% run by volunteers at all levels, his goal is to make sure the Center has a dedicated and consistent pipeline of volunteers to support us in serving the community throughout our various programs. His favorite part of volunteering is connecting people to the resources they need to lead fulfilling lives.
