Alycia Hinrichsen (she/her) is the Groups Coordinator at the Pride Center of New Jersey. She helps people start new groups + programs at the Center to grow its social and support communities. She also offers support in planning community events + meetups. Additionally, Alycia facilitates the Qmmunity: Queer Hangout social group and co-facilitates the Bi-tanical Plants program.
With a background in written and visual communications, Alycia currently works as the Intake Coordinator at a psychology practice. She offers administrative support to young adults and families, and assists with schedule coordination, office organization strategies, and team building efforts. In her free time, Alycia enjoys listening to her favorite podcasts while cooking new recipes, embroidering, and thrifting. She also volunteers to support her town’s local cat rescue.
Alycia is passionate about community-building opportunities, which is why she started volunteering at PCNJ. Her goal is to enable improved communication among Center attendees, group facilitators, and board members to create a familiar and collaborative LBGTQIA2S+ space. Her favorite part of volunteering at the Center is seeing people make new connections to help strengthen and expand the PCNJ community.
